Northampton Church

Towering arched windows designed to honor a building’s character while supporting its next chapter.

Scope of Work

Eleven arched window units
Circular rose window

Project Overview

This former church was being repurposed and required windows that preserved its dramatic architecture while supporting modern energy-efficiency goals.

Oakleigh designed and built eleven twenty-foot arched window units along with a circular rose window. A spandrel was incorporated to visually mask a new second floor without changing the building’s proportions. Vacuum-insulated glass was used to improve energy performance and help the developer qualify for a city grant.

The Results

Close coordination with the installation team ensured every unit fit as designed, allowing the windows to be installed without modifying the existing structure.
